Opportunity:
RN – Psych
Job Details:
• 13-week contract assignment
• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly with overtime after 80 hours worked in the second week
• Mix of 8-hour and 12-hour variable shifts
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Holiday rotation requirements
• May be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum callback
• May float to Stevens Point Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit if needed
• Contract eligible for 36 hours low census
• Must have travel experience
• Prefer minimum 1-2 years of behavioral health experience
• Medical/surgical background preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: AHA BLS and RN License
• Required education: Associate Degree or Certificate (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
• Any scrub colors permitted
• Work on 11-bed unit with maximum capacity of 8 patients
• Patient ratio: 1 RN to 5-6 patients when unit is full
• Responsibilities include medication passing, patient care, documentation, and milieu management
• Must comply with facility vaccination and masking policies during flu season
• GSA hours not guaranteed during orientation week
