Opportunity:
RN – IMC
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day/night variable shifts
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract assignment
• Contract ends on Sunday (not Saturday)
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Can be low censused and put on call with 2-hour minimum call back
• Float to higher acuity units as needed throughout all inpatient units
• Must work outside 50-mile radius of facility
• 2+ years of nursing experience required (firm requirement)
• Stepdown/Intermediate/PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator/Trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Care for 4:1 patient ratio on 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit
• Manage heavy telemetry, stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma alcohol detox, GI bleeds, colostomy/ileostomy care, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke patients
• Handle primary patients and insulin drips
• Must be resilient, manage change well, work independently, and complete tasks timely in fast-paced environment
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Clinical interview services required
