Opportunity:
IR Tech – IR Tech
Job Details:
• Perform interventional radiology procedures including thoracentesis, paracentesis, embolization (UFE), IVC filter placement, and SVC repair
• Assist with line placements including PICC lines and various central lines
• Support CT biopsies, fistulas, needle aspirations, and shock wave lithotripsy procedures
• Participate in vascular cases as needed
• Work as part of a collaborative team with strong communication skills, especially with physicians
• Maintain knowledge of aseptic technique and radiation safety protocols
• Anticipate physician needs during procedures
• 2 years of interventional radiology experience required
• Active Illinois license (IEMA) required
• Active BLS (AHA) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• RCIS and CBT certifications highly preferred but not required
• Procedural scrubs provided by facility
• Free parking available on site
