Opportunity:
RN – IMC
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week contract
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Contract ends on Sunday, not Saturday
• Float to all inpatient units at AWH as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Can be low censused and put on call with 2-hour minimum call back
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of Aspirus Wausau
• 2+ years experience required with stepdown/intermediate/PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred, Trauma Level II preferred
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• Ventilator/Trach experience required
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Care for patients with heavy telemetry, stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, stroke, and insulin drips
• Must be hard worker, resilient, manage change well, work independently, and complete tasks timely in fast-paced environment
• Clinical interview services required
