Opportunity:
Anesthesia Tech – Anesthesia Tech
Job Details:
• Work variable 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday with start times including 5:00 AM, 5:30 AM, 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, and 10:00 AM
• 13-week contract with 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Approximately one shift per week includes one hour of charge duties for early morning setup from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• May be required to float to other Central Aspirus locations as needed
• On-call requirements include one backup and one call night per week, 1-2 call weekends per contract, and one holiday call per contract
• On-call shifts will be either 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM or overnight call on a rotation basis for sick call coverage
• Weekend coverage required 1-2 weekends per contract for on-call duties
• Must have own vehicle for on-call requirements
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC certifications required), ASATT preferred
• Associate degree or certificate in anesthesia technology required
• Minimum 2 years anesthesia tech experience required with trauma level II experience highly preferred
• Must have experience with hearts or assisting with central lines and Swan-Ganz catheters
• At least one travel assignment required
• Preferred experience with Cell Saver, Belmont, and setting up central lines
• Assist anesthesia providers throughout various specialties with main focus on cardiothoracic program
• Use EPIC charting system
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
