Opportunity:

RN – CCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable shifts in Critical Care Unit
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday
• 1:2 patient ratio in CCU
• Must maintain 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Float to alike units within skillset and other Aspirus locations within 40-mile radius (Tomahawk, Howard Young, and Eagle River)
• Floating can be pre-scheduled when needed
• Subject to low census and on-call status as needed
• Call back minimum of 2 hours when called in
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Required to wear any scrub color
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license, AHA or Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2+ years ICU experience required
• Prior critical access/rural hospital experience highly preferred
• EPIC charting system used (no prior EPIC experience required)
• Occasional pediatric surgical patients (may include ENT or orthopedic cases)
• Clinical interview required before assignment
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
• During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination must wear masks at all times
• Associate degree or certificate required
