Opportunity:
RN – IMC
Job Details:
• 13-week contract assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 12-hour day/night variable shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Can be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum callback pay
• Contract ends on Sunday instead of Saturday
• 4:1 patient ratio in Med Surg Intermediate Care unit
• Care for patients with stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Manage insulin drips and primary patients
• Must have 2+ years stepdown/intermediate/PCU experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• ICU experience and Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator/Trach experience required
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS
• Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Fast-paced unit requiring independent work and timely task completion
