Opportunity:
RN – Oncology
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour variable shifts covering days, PMs, and nights
• 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week contract
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Patient ratio ranges from 4:1 or 5:1 on days and PMs, night shift normally 5:1 but can reach 7:1
• Float as needed to other areas within scope, can float in 4-hour blocks and will float before staff RNs
• No on-call or call back requirements
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and Chemo certification
• Minimum 2+ years experience required, 1 year MSO unit preferred, oncology experience required
• Epic EMR preferred, must have previous electronic charting experience if no Epic background
• Work with Epic EMR, rovers for medication scanning, and Alaris pumps
• Care for medical-surgical oncology patients including surgical oncology and medical oncology patients
• Small population receiving chemotherapy treatments
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times per facility policy

The facility maintains modern equipment including Epic EMR systems and advanced medication management technology. The organization emphasizes quality patient care with appropriate staffing ratios and support staff including CNAs and techs on night shifts.
