Opportunity:
RN – ICU
Job Details:
• Work 36 guaranteed hours per week with variable day and night shifts
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday
• Float to other units as needed including MS, and facility float to Rhinelander, Eagle River and Tomahawk
• Floating can and will be pre-scheduled
• Subject to low census and on-call requirements with 2-hour call back minimum
• Patient ratios: 1:2 in ICU, 1:3-1:4 for IMC, and 1:5-1:6 for MS
• Work in 10-bed ICU/IMC unit and 34-bed MS unit
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS
• NIHSS preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience required, one travel assignment preferred
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers required to wear masks at all times per facility policy
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred

This medical center provides comprehensive critical care services with a 10-bed ICU/IMC unit and a 34-bed medical-surgical unit. The facility is part of a larger healthcare network with multiple locations including Rhinelander, Eagle River, and Tomahawk, requiring flexibility for inter-facility assignments. The organization maintains strict safety protocols and utilizes EPIC charting systems to ensure quality patient care across all units.
