Opportunity:
Respiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week over 13-week contract
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to all patient care areas of the hospital including ED and general care areas
• May be required to float to other Central Aspirus locations with advance notice
• Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue situations
• Perform basic respiratory care, critical care, and ventilator management
• Conduct patient assessments with Assess and Treat Protocols for all age groups
• Work with equipment including V60 BIPAP, HAMILTON G5 AND C1, ISTAT
• Document in EPIC electronic health record system
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA or ARC), NBRC RRT (NBRC CRT accepted but must obtain RRT within one year), Advanced NRP preferred
• Active Wisconsin license required
• Associates degree or certificate required
• Minimum 3+ years experience with pediatric experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Must be outside 50 mile radius of facility
• Dress code: closed-toe shoes, scrubs any color, clean appearance, no smoking or scents, piercings per policy
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours with potential on-call placement
