Opportunity:
Respiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract assignment
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to all patient care areas including ED and general care areas
• May be required to float to other Central locations with advance notice
• Can be placed on call for low census hours (counts toward 36 low census unbillable hours)
• Call back minimum is 2 hours when called back to facility
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• 3+ years experience required with pediatric experience
• NICU experience required for night shift positions
• Previous travel experience required
• Associates degree or certificate required
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, Advanced NRP, NBRC RRT (NBRC CRT accepted but must obtain RRT within one year)
• Active Wisconsin license required
• Provide basic respiratory care, critical care, and ventilator management
• Perform patient assessments with assess and treat protocols
• Care for all age groups and provide emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue
• Chart using Epic documentation system
• Work with equipment including V60 BIPAP, Hamilton G5 and C1, ISTAT
• Dress code requires closed-toe shoes, scrubs (any color), clean appearance, no smoking or scents, piercings per policy
