Opportunity:
RN – L&D
Job Details:
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 6-week contract assignment
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Work every 3rd weekend and every other holiday rotation
• Must be located outside 50-mile radius from facility
• May be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum call back
• No float requirements
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, Advanced NRP, Wisconsin RN license
• Minimum 2 years OB experience with labor and delivery competency required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Work in 11-bed L&D unit with 8-bed postpartum unit
• Handle approximately 112 deliveries per month (1,350 annually)
• Must maintain labor and delivery competencies and skills
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Guaranteed hours may vary during holidays when unit is closed
• GSA hours not guaranteed during orientation week

The facility maintains a robust delivery service handling over 1,300 births annually, providing specialized maternal and newborn care. The organization utilizes EPIC electronic medical records and maintains high standards for nursing competency in obstetric care, offering a supportive environment for experienced labor and delivery professionals.
