Opportunity:
RN – Observation Unit
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour variable day/night shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked
• 13-week assignment starting 4/6/26
• Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed including IMC and CTU units
• Can be low censused and placed on call with 2-hour minimum call back
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
• 3 years nursing experience required with 1 travel assignment required
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS
• NIHSS highly preferred
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance
• EPIC charting experience required
• Work in 8-bed observation unit with 1:4 patient ratio
• Treat patients with anemia, cellulitis, COPD, dehydration, pre/post-op urology and GI procedures
• Manage cardiac drips including Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, and Heparin
• Handle high volume of admissions and discharges with average stay up to 48 hours
• Must be able to read and interpret cardiac strips
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Mask required during flu season if vaccination declined
