Opportunity:

Paramedic – Paramedic

Job Details:

• Work 24-hour shifts, 2 shifts per week
• 48 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract length
• Every other weekend requirement as needed with scheduled rotation
• Holiday coverage as needed and available
• No on-call requirements
• May float to other locations in the north region based on staffing needs
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Call back minimum of 2 hours when called back to facility
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Required certifications: Wisconsin EMT Paramedic Certification, Active WI Driver's License, PALS, BLS, ACLS
• Wisconsin CCP (Critical Care Paramedic) Endorsement preferred
• Michigan Paramedic Certification if candidate has NREMT-P for reciprocity
• AHA or ARC certifications required
• Minimum 1 year paramedic experience required, 3 years preferred
• High School graduate with successful completion of EMS paramedic program
• Training provided on Zoll emsCharts platform
• Work in various crew configurations: EMT/Medic, Medic/Medic, RN/EMT, RN/Medic
• Provide basic and advanced life support treatment and patient evaluation
• Conduct ongoing patient assessment and documentation
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and maintain patient charts
• Monitor and communicate patient conditions and treatments
• Implement interventions based on established protocols
