Opportunity:
RN – ICU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour variable day/night shifts in Medical Surgical ICU
• 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week contract
• Work 2 weekends out of 4 as needed (Friday/Saturday for nights, Saturday/Sunday for days)
• Holiday rotation required for observed holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
• Must be willing to float to Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover, and Riverview facilities
• No on-call requirements, but additional shifts may be available for sick calls
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC), Wisconsin RN license
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience, Med/Surg experience, and travel experience required
• Must be competent in both ICU and MedSurg skills
• Care for medical and surgical patients including joint replacements and general surgical patients
• Unit has 11 beds designated for COVID patients with remaining patients in separate rooms
• Dark blue scrubs required
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of nonbillable low census hours
• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times per facility policy
