Opportunity:

Paramedic – Paramedic

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 11:00 PM to 11:00 AM
• Follow 2-2-3 schedule rotation
• 96 guaranteed hours biweekly
• Every other weekend requirement as scheduled rotation
• Holiday coverage as needed and available
• May float to other locations in north region based on staffing levels
• On-call requirement for low census hours with call back minimum of 2 hours
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Required certifications: Wisconsin EMT Paramedic Certification, Active Wisconsin Driver's License, AHA or ARC PALS, BLS, AHA ACLS
• Wisconsin CCP (Critical Care Paramedic) Endorsement preferred
• Michigan Paramedic Certification preferred if candidate has NREMT-P
• Minimum one year paramedic experience required, three years preferred
• High school graduate with successful completion of EMS paramedic program required
• Training provided on Zoll EMS Charts platform
• Work in various crew configurations including EMT/Medic, Medic/Medic, RN/EMT, RN/Medic
• Provide basic and advanced life support treatment and patient care
• Perform ongoing patient assessment and documentation
• Monitor and communicate patient condition and treatment
• Initiate interventions based on protocols
• Work independently with strong decision-making skills under stress
