Opportunity:
Respiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract assignment
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to all patient care areas including ED and general care areas
• May be required to float to other Central Aspirus locations with advance notice
• Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue situations
• Support Basic Respiratory Care, Critical Care, and Ventilator Management
• Perform patient assessment with Assess and Treat Protocols for all age groups
• Work with V60 BIPAP, HAMILTON G5 AND C1, ISTAT equipment
• Documentation in EPIC charting system
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA or ARC certifications), ADVANCED NRP preferred
• NBRC RRT required, NBRC CRT accepted but must obtain RRT within one year
• Active Wisconsin license required
• Associate degree or certificate required
• 3+ years experience required, pediatric & NICU experience preferred
• Previous travel experience required
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Dress code: closed-toe shoes, scrubs any color, clean appearance, no smoking or scent allowed
• Eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours with on-call requirements
