Opportunity:
RN – IMC
Job Details:
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract ending on Sunday
• Every other weekend and holiday requirement
• Patient ratio: 4:1
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically higher acuity units
• Can be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum call back
• Must be outside a 50-mile radius of facility
• Work with stable, weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke patients
• Handle heavy telemetry monitoring and insulin drips
• Fast-paced unit requiring independent work and timely task completion
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2+ years experience required with stepdown/intermediate/PCU experience mandatory
• ICU experience and Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator/Trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel assignment required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must wear mask at all times if declining flu and COVID vaccination during flu season

The facility maintains high standards for patient safety and quality care, serving as a trauma center with comprehensive services. The unit focuses on managing patients requiring intermediate level care including ventilator weaning, telemetry monitoring, and post-surgical recovery with advanced medical equipment and specialized protocols.
