RN – L&D
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract length
• Must work every 3rd weekend and every other holiday rotation
• No float requirements
• Subject to low census and on-call status with 2-hour minimum callback pay
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Required certifications: AHA or ARC BLS, Advanced NRP, Wisconsin RN license
• Minimum 2 years obstetrics experience with labor and delivery competency required
• EPIC charting system experience preferred
• Labor and delivery competent skillset required
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Guaranteed set hours per week except during holidays when unit is closed
• Mask required at all times during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination
Facility:
This healthcare facility features a comprehensive obstetrics and maternity services department with an 11-bed labor and delivery unit and 8-bed postpartum unit. The facility manages approximately 1,350 deliveries annually with an average monthly delivery rate of 112 births. The organization utilizes EPIC electronic medical record systems and maintains high standards for maternal and newborn care with modern equipment and specialized nursing support.
