Opportunity:
Respiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract length
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to respiratory therapy areas throughout the hospital including ED and general care areas
• May be required to float to other Central Aspirus locations with advance notice
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NBRC RRT (or NBRC CRT with RRT obtained within one year)
• Advanced NRP preferred but not required
• Active Wisconsin license required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Minimum 3+ years experience with pediatrics experience required
• NICU experience preferred
• Previous travel experience required
• Must be outside a 50-mile radius of Aspirus Wausau
• Work with V60 BIPAP, HAMILTON G5 AND C1 ventilators, ISTAT equipment
• Document in EPIC system
• Provide basic respiratory care, critical care, ventilator management, patient assessment
• Care for all age groups and provide emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue
• Dress code: closed-toe shoes, scrubs any color, no smoking or scent allowed
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
• May be placed on call for low census hours
