Opportunity:
CT Technologist – CT Tech
Job Details:
• Position has dual responsibilities in CT and Diagnostic Radiology
• Work with 2 CT scanners providing general CT experience
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios
• Handle general patient care excluding neurosurgery or cardiac cases
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT-CT, Wisconsin license
• Toshiba Canon aquilion experience preferred
• Use Epic EMR and McKesson PACS systems
• No floating required
• NEO + 2 shifts orientation provided
• Support staff includes imaging assistant, transport, patient assistant, receptionist, RT, and hospitalist
• Scrubs: any color acceptable
• Free surface parking available
• Determine appropriate radiographic technique and position patients using immobilization devices
• Perform competent patient positioning for all exams and image critique
• Follow scanning protocols per Radiologist and perform image reviews
• Operate equipment competently in CT and Digital x-ray modalities
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety procedures and proper documentation
Facility:
This 100-bed healthcare facility serves as a Level IV Trauma center providing comprehensive medical services to the community. The imaging department features modern equipment including multiple CT scanners and maintains a collaborative team environment with excellent support staff. The facility emphasizes quality patient care while maintaining efficient operations and comprehensive diagnostic capabilities for a wide range of medical conditions.
