Opportunity:
RN – Wound Care
Job Details:
• Work 9-hour shifts, 4 days a week from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No weekend rotation required
• No holiday rotation required
• May be low censused and placed on call with a minimum 2-hour callback requirement
• Float to Howard Young Wound Clinic in Woodruff, WI as needed
• Work in an outpatient procedural department with NP-led plan of care; RNs carry out plan of care
• Perform inpatient and ED consultations
• Current patient ratio of 1 RN to 8-9 visits per day with CNA assistance
• Primary procedures include topical wound care, compression wraps, wound VACs, total contact casting, conservative sharp wound debridement, ostomy pouching system changes, and peristomal skin breakdown treatment
• Minimum 2 years of wound care experience or wound care certification required
• Wound and ostomy experience strongly preferred
• Associate degree or certificate in nursing required
• Wisconsin or compact RN license required
• AHA or ARC BLS certification required
• Wound and ostomy certification preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Any color scrubs permitted; closed-toed shoes required; no fake nails or nail polish allowed
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
