Opportunity:
Pharmacy Technician – Pharmacy Tech
Job Details:
• 13-week contract with an ASAP start date
• 8-hour day shifts
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Every third weekend and holiday rotation required
• May be required to float to other central locations if needed
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Work primarily in the oncology center IV room in a fast-paced, busy environment
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience required
• Sterile compounding experience required
• Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) compounding experience required
• Hazardous drug/chemotherapy experience highly preferred
• Knowledge of Abacus/Baxa compounding software and Repeater pump beneficial
• Simplifi/SoleSource software experience preferred
• EPIC charting experience highly preferred
• Pyxis experience preferred
• Required certifications: PTCB/ChT and WI Pharmacy Technician license
• Media Fill Test Certification preferred
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Any scrub color permitted

This facility is a large inpatient hospital offering a wide range of medical services, including a dedicated oncology center with an active IV room. The pharmacy department supports complex compounding needs including sterile and hazardous drug preparation, as well as Total Parenteral Nutrition. The facility operates at a fast pace and is equipped with modern pharmacy technology to support high-quality patient care.
