Opportunity:
RN – Skilled Nursing
Job Details:
• 8-hour day shifts with block scheduling
• Every other weekend required
• Must be available for at least half of holidays during assignment
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating requirements apply
• Patient ratio: RNs 1:20, LPNs 1:20, CNAs 1:8
• Care setting is post-acute/long-term care
• Common diagnoses include dementia, frail elderly, and rehabilitation patients
• Job duties include charting, assessments, charge duties, medication administration, and clinical skills such as IVs, catheters, and ostomy care
• IV and titratable drip experience required
• Prior experience working with elderly patients required
• Charting system: ECS
• Scrub color/dress code: Any solid color, clean and professional
• Required certification: BLS (AHA)
Facility:
This post-acute nursing home facility is attached to a hospital and features 70 beds, with the majority being private rooms. The facility supports an interdisciplinary team including therapy, administration, social workers, activities, dietary, housekeeping, and respiratory therapy available on-site 24/7. Physician availability is provided after hours, and an on-site pharmacy with a medication dispensing system is available to support clinical staff.
