Opportunity:
RN – Supervisor
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Every other major holiday expected
• No on-call responsibilities
• 6-week schedule cycle
• Minimum 2 years of RN Medical/Surgical experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Average patient ratio of up to 6 patients per nurse
• Care for all Medical/Surgical patient types
• Required skills include: tracheostomy care, chest tubes, reading and interpreting cardiac rhythm strips, Lasix drips, insulin drips, heparin drips, and wound vacs
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• ACLS preferred
• EMR experience with EPIC required
• IV pump experience with Alaris required
• Medication dispensing experience with Pyxis required
• Floating to any Medical/Surgical unit may be required with assignments given by the House Supervisor
• 1-shift orientation for facility and unit
• Scrub color: any solid color, no logos

Facility:
This medical center is a 277-bed facility operating as a Level IV Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and Primary Stroke Center. The facility provides comprehensive Medical/Surgical care with robust departmental support including CNAs, Health Unit Coordinators, Rapid Response Teams, Phlebotomy services, and centralized telemetry monitoring with dedicated telemetry technicians. The organization utilizes advanced technology and equipment to support high-quality patient care across all Medical/Surgical units.
