Opportunity:
RN – Supervisor
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Every other major holiday expected
• No on-call responsibilities
• 6-week schedule cycle
• Minimum 2 years of RN Medical/Surgical experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio averages up to 6 patients per nurse depending on staffing
• Care for all Med/Surg patient types
• Required skills include: tracheostomy care, chest tubes, reading and interpreting cardiac rhythm strips, Lasix drips, Insulin drips, Heparin drips, and wound vacs
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• ACLS preferred
• EMR experience with EPIC required
• IV pump experience with Alaris required
• Medication dispensing via Pyxis
• May float to any Medical/Surgical unit with assignment given by House Supervisor
• 1-shift orientation provided
• Scrub color: any solid color, no logos

Facility:
This medical center is a 277-bed hospital designated as a Level IV Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and Primary Stroke Center. The facility provides comprehensive Medical/Surgical care supported by a robust departmental team including CNAs, Techs, HUCs, RNs, a Rapid Response Team, Phlebotomy for peripheral lab draws, Charge Nurses, and centralized telemetry monitoring with telemetry technicians.
