Opportunity:
RN – IMC
Job Details:
• 13-week contract
• 12-hour variable shifts, days and nights: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Contract end day is Sunday, not Saturday
• Float requirements include all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Unit may low census in 4-hour increments; traveler may be asked to work only 4 or 8 hours of a shift
• 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry focus
• Patient conditions include stable and weaning vents/trachs, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Patient ratio: 4:1
• Primary patients and insulin drips included in scope of care
• Scrub colors: any color
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required – firm
• Stepdown/Intermediate/PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator/Trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage independently, complete tasks in a timely manner, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

This facility is a well-established hospital offering a wide range of inpatient services, including a Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with 36 beds and a strong focus on telemetry and complex patient care. The facility operates as a Trauma Level II center and provides comprehensive specialty support across multiple inpatient units.
