Opportunity:
RN – IMC
Job Details:
• 13-week contract
• 12-hour variable day/night shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours, which may be taken in hour increments; unit typically low censuses in 4-hour increments
• 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry focus
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Patient population includes stable and weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, stroke, and primary patients on insulin drips
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required; Stepdown, Intermediate, or PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred; Trauma Level II preferred
• Ventilator/trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub colors: Any color
