Opportunity:
RN – IMC
Job Details:
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Contract end day is Sunday, not Saturday
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Float requirements include all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Low census may occur in 4-hour increments; traveler may be asked to work only 4 or 8 hours of a shift
• 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry monitoring
• Patient conditions include stable and weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Primary insulin drips management
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required – firm requirement
• Stepdown, Intermediate, or PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator/trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage change, work independently, and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub color: Any color

This facility is a full-service hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services to the surrounding community. The Intermediate Care unit is a fast-paced, 36-bed Med Surg environment with heavy telemetry, supporting a diverse patient population that includes trauma, neurological, and complex medical cases. The facility maintains high standards of patient care and is designated as a Trauma Level II center.
