Opportunity:
MRI Technologist – MRI
Job Details:
• 3-5 years of experience in MRI required
• First-time travelers welcome
• Weekly census of 250-300 patients
• Patient types include outpatient, inpatient, and ED patients with implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, whole body; cardiac experience preferred
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT-MR or ARMRIT
• GE and Siemens equipment experience required
• Must be proficient with EPIC charting system
• Must be experienced with GE Discovery 750W, Siemens Aera, Siemens Magnetom Skyra, and McKesson PACS
• No floating required – MRI only assignment
• 3 days of orientation provided
• Support available on unit including Lead Tech/Coordinator and Imaging Assistants; traveler will never be alone
• Weekend rotation: maximum every 3rd weekend
• On-call Saturday and Sunday nights from 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Back-up on-call Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 9:00 PM with 30-minute response time required
• Weekly rotating responsibility for first-shift backup on-call and weekend on-call; weekend on-call occurs approximately once every 8 weeks
• Holiday scheduling based on unit needs
• Scrub color: any color as long as professional

Facility:
This facility is a large 933-bed acute care hospital holding Magnet Designation and serving as a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and Primary Stroke Center. The MRI department operates with 6 scanners, currently running 5, and is well-staffed with support personnel to ensure a collaborative and well-resourced work environment. The facility is committed to delivering high-quality imaging services across a diverse patient population.
