Opportunity:
RN – ER
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• On-call requirement of 12 hours in a 6-week period with a 30-minute response time
• Call back minimum is 2 hours
• May be required to float to other locations including Merrill, Antigo, Medford, and Stanley
• Minimum 5 years of experience required with at least 1 year of travel experience – FIRM
• Trauma Level II experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Work in an 18-bed Trauma Level II unit that is stroke certified, serving cardiac, neuro, pediatric, geriatric, and respiratory patients
• Fast-paced environment with 3-4 patients per nurse
• Responsibilities include drawing labs, performing nebulizer treatments, and utilizing Pyxis medication dispenser
• X-ray staff on site in the ED and lab services available in house
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (ARC or AHA)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub color: any color

This facility is a Trauma Level II hospital featuring an 18-bed emergency department that is stroke certified and equipped to handle a wide range of complex cases including cardiac, neurological, pediatric, geriatric, and respiratory conditions. The emergency department operates around the clock and is supported by in-house laboratory services, on-site radiology staff, and respiratory therapy, ensuring comprehensive care for all patients. The facility is part of a larger health system with multiple regional locations, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment for experienced emergency nursing professionals.
