Opportunity:
RN – MedSurg
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour variable shifts with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5 on Days/Evenings and 1:6-7 on Evenings/Nights
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Occasional float to other departments to assist with tasks such as vital checks, but will not take on a patient load; may float to other locations including Merrill, Wausau, Stanley, and Langlade
• May be placed on call during low census hours with a call back minimum of 2 hours
• Work on a 20-bed unit with a typical census of 8-10 patients in a 25-bed critical access hospital; ICU and MedSurg are a shared unit with 3 ICU beds
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; ED or ICU experience is very helpful
• Must be able to read telemetry strips
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license, AHA or ARC BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Clean and work-appropriate scrubs required; any color acceptable
