Job Details:
• Weekend rotation required: 1 weekend per month
• No on-call or holiday requirements
• Time off available: up to 7 days
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio: RN 1:4 (Days & Nights); Tech 1:8 (Days & Nights)
• Treat patients of all ages
• Critical care level skill set required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC/TNS, CPI or MOAB
• Charting system: EPIC EMR
• Equipment: Alaris IV Pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, GE Monitors
• Scrub color: Any solid color, professional – no graphics, logos, or designs
• Free parking available
• Orientation: At least 1 shift to learn unit flow
Facility:
This facility is a Level IV Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, and Accredited Chest Pain Center offering comprehensive emergency care services. The emergency department consists of 21 beds plus a 6-bed annex, supported by an active FNE program with RN on-call 24/7. The unit is staffed around the clock with a charge nurse on reduced patient assignment, a hospitalist in-house, an ED physician in-house, HUC support, and phlebotomy assistance for peripheral blood draws, along with nursing station telemetry monitoring.
