Opportunity:
RN – OR
Job Details:
• 13-week contract with 8-hour variable shifts
• Shift times include a mix of 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, and 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week, except during holidays when the unit is closed
• On-call requirement of 6-8 weeknights and 1-2 weekends during the 13-week contract
• 30-minute response time required for on-call – must be ready and in the OR within 30 minutes
• Call-back minimum is 2 hours
• Weekend requirement is for call only with holiday rotation
• May float to other locations if needed
• Minimum 5+ years of OR experience required with at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Experience in a larger facility with a comparable OR volume of 20+ ORs required
• Circulating required; scrubbing preferred
• Da Vinci Robotic experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Must have a personal vehicle – cannot rely on rideshare services due to on-call responsibilities
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Works in a 21-OR facility handling 40-60 cases per day with an average of 45 cases
• Specialties include General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Plastics, ENT, and GI
• Must be flexible, hardworking, resilient, adaptable to change, and willing to perform downtime tasks as needed
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and Wisconsin RN License
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub colors: any color

This facility is a full-service hospital featuring 21 operating rooms and a high-volume surgical program handling an average of 45 cases per day across a wide range of specialties including general surgery, gynecology, urology, plastics, ENT, and GI. As a Trauma Level II facility, it is equipped to handle complex and high-acuity cases and utilizes advanced technology including Da Vinci Robotic surgical systems. The organization is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and maintains high standards for its surgical team.
