Opportunity:
Physical Therapist – Physical Therapy
Job Details:
• Work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 4×10-hour shift schedule (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM) will also be considered
• No weekend or holiday requirements
• Treat an average of 10-12 patients per day
• Cover acute inpatient, Swingbed rehab, and outpatient areas
• Typically 2-3 hours of inpatient and Swingbed coverage per shift followed by outpatient coverage
• Treat primarily orthopedic patients (post-surgical, general pain), neurological, balance, and weakness cases
• Must be able to handle a fast-paced, busy environment
• Minimum 1 year of experience outside of school required; 3 years preferred
• Inpatient experience preferred; candidates with outpatient-only experience will be considered
• Prior Cerner experience preferred; Cerner is the charting system used
• Orientation begins day one with one-on-one training with manager and computer-based trainings; 1-2 days with a preceptor, expected to take on patients independently by day 2 and full caseload by day 3
• Scrubs or business casual attire acceptable; closed-toed shoes required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
• Wisconsin state license required
• Must clock in and out at the facility

This medical center is an acute care facility offering a comprehensive range of services including acute inpatient care, Swingbed rehabilitation, and outpatient therapy. The physical therapy department operates Monday through Friday and is supported by a dedicated management team and rehabilitation aide staff. The facility utilizes Cerner as its electronic health records system and emphasizes a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care.
