Opportunity:
RN – IMC
Job Details:
• 13-week contract
• 12-hour day/night variable shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Low census hours may be taken in increments as needed, typically in 4-hour increments
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• 22-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry monitoring
• Care for patients with conditions including stable/weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Manage primary patients and insulin drips
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required – firm requirement
• Stepdown, Intermediate, or PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator/trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub colors: any color

The unit emphasizes independence, resilience, and adaptability, with staff expected to manage tasks efficiently in a high-acuity setting. The organization provides comprehensive inpatient services and maintains high standards of patient care across multiple units.
