Opportunity:
RN – ICU
Job Details:
• 13-week contract with an immediate start date
• 12-hour day shifts
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours that can be taken in hour increments as needed
• Work in an 8-bed Neuro unit caring for Stroke, TBI, Head injury, and Neurosurgery patients
• Primary procedures include Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures such as line placement and intubation
• Neuro-specific procedures include bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery
• Familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring required
• Strong Neuro assessment skills required
• Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with 1 travel assignment preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Experience as a Neuro Interventionalist is a plus
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC), and NIHSS
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Scrub color: any color
