Opportunity:
Cath Lab Technologist – Cath Lab
Job Details:
• Work 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday
• Position covers both Cardiac and Interventional Radiology procedures in a 2-room cath lab
• Average of 6 cases per day across 2 suites/labs
• Common procedures include coronary procedures, IR procedures, and vascular procedures (no EP cases)
• Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating cases
• On-call required Monday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 6:30 AM (1-2 nights per week)
• On-call every 3rd weekend covering all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (6:30 AM to 6:30 AM)
• On-call for holidays as needed for coverage
• Call response time is 30 minutes
• Occasional floating to provide 1:1 sitter assistance
• Must have scrub, pan/general X-ray knowledge and knowledge of IR and cardiac cases
• EMR system: Cerner; Equipment: Merge
• Scrubs provided by facility in light blue
• Required certification: BLS (AHA); ACLS preferred
• Must clock in and out at the facility
• Orientation binder to be completed and checked off during first week
Facility:
This acute care facility operates a dedicated Cath Lab department featuring 2 procedure suites supporting both cardiac and interventional radiology cases. The department utilizes Cerner and Merge systems and maintains on-call coverage for evenings and weekends to ensure continuous patient care. The facility provides scrubs to all clinical staff and supports structured onboarding through a comprehensive orientation program.
