Opportunity:
Echo Technologist – Echo Technologist
Job Details:
• 8-hour day shifts, scheduled between 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Contract length of 6 weeks
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Generally no weekends required; holidays required as needed
• No float or on-call requirements
• Perform 6-8 echocardiograms per day primarily for outpatients with some inpatients daily
• Only Echo technologist onsite
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Knowledge of cardiac and/or vascular anatomy and physiology required
• ECG interpretive skills required, including identification and differentiation of arrhythmias
• Knowledge of routine cardiovascular pharmacological agents required
• Epic charting experience highly preferred
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in an allied health field preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, RDCS, ARDMS, or RCS CCI registry, or RVT, ARDMS or RVS, CCI registry (AHA or ARC certifications required)
• Scrub colors: Any color acceptable
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius
