Opportunity:
RN – Correctional Facility Nurse
Job Details:
• 24 hours per week for 26 weeks
• Conduct sick call and respond to medical emergencies
• Collect and respond to health service requests from units
• Triage requests and coordinate the daily schedule
• See sick call patients and manage multiple follow-up appointments from provider referrals and RN follow-ups
• Work as a nurse clinician for general population and restricted housing
• Provide long-term care for patients housed inpatient in HSU sick cells, illness recovery, or post-operative care
• Temporarily perform lab duties until a Medical Assistant is hired and trained
• Required certifications: CPR required at time of submittal
• 1098D and 1098N required upon submittal
• Teams interviews will be conducted
