Opportunity:
RN – ICU
Job Details:
• 13-week contract with an ASAP start date
• 12-hour day shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week (guaranteed hours not applicable during orientation week)
• Weekend requirements: 2 weekends out of 4 as needed; if scheduled days, weekends are Saturday and Sunday
• Holiday rotation required; observed holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
• Must be willing to float to Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover, and Riverview locations
• No on-call or back-up requirements; additional shifts may be available to pick up for sick calls
• Primary unit is a medical/surgical ICU with a case mix including joint replacements and general surgical patients
• Must be ICU and Med/Surg competent
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; Med/Surg experience and travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC certifications required)
• Wisconsin RN license required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Scrub color: Dark blue
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Will not accommodate more than 7 days of requested time off

This hospital is a full-service community healthcare facility offering a wide range of medical and surgical services. The medical/surgical ICU consists of 11 beds and treats a diverse patient population including joint replacement and general surgical patients. The facility is part of a larger regional health system with multiple locations, providing travelers the opportunity to float to nearby affiliated sites and gain varied clinical experience.
