Opportunity:
RN – IMC
Job Details:
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every other holiday rotation required
• Contract length of 13 weeks
• Float requirements include all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Low census may occur in 4-hour increments; unit may request traveler work only 4 or 8 hours of a shift
• 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry monitoring
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Patient population includes stable and weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Primary patients and insulin drips experience required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required – firm requirement
• Stepdown, Intermediate, or PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator/trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage independently, complete tasks in a timely manner, and adapt well to change in a fast-paced environment
• Scrub colors: any color
• Contractors must reside outside a 50-mile radius of facility

This facility is a well-established health system serving patients across the region, offering a wide range of inpatient services including intermediate care, trauma, and specialty care. The unit is a 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with a strong focus on complex patient management and high-acuity care.
