Opportunity:
RN – IMC
Job Details:
• 13-week contract with guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 12-hour variable shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM or 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float requirements include all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Unit may low census in 4-hour increments; travelers may be asked to work only 4 or 8 hours of a shift
• 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry monitoring
• Patient conditions include stable/weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Patient ratio of 4:1 with primary patients and insulin drips
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required – firm requirement
• Stepdown, Intermediate, or PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred; Trauma Level II preferred
• Ventilator/trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub color: any color
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage independently, and complete tasks in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment
• Contractors must reside outside a 50-mile radius of facility

This facility is a well-established hospital offering a wide range of inpatient services, including a 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry capabilities. The facility operates as a Trauma Level II center and provides comprehensive care for complex patient populations. Staff are expected to float to various inpatient units as needed, supporting a collaborative and dynamic care environment across the organization.
