Opportunity:
RN – IMC
Job Details:
• 13-week contract with guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 12-hour variable shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM or 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Low census hours may occur in 4-hour increments; contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Patient ratio of 4:1 on a 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry
• Patient population includes stable and weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Ventilator and trach experience required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required – firm requirement
• Stepdown, Intermediate, or PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub color: any color
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage independently, complete tasks in a timely manner, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

This facility is a full-service hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including a Med Surg Intermediate Care unit that handles high-acuity patients. The facility operates as a Trauma Level II center and provides comprehensive specialty care across multiple inpatient units. The organization is committed to maintaining high standards of patient care and expects contract staff to demonstrate strong clinical skills and adaptability.
