Opportunity:
RN – Skilled Nursing
Job Details:
• 12-hour day shifts with weekend and holiday requirements
• Block schedule with 8-hour shifts, 4 nurses and 7 aides during day/PM, 2 nurses and 3-4 aides during NOC
• Every other weekend required unless otherwise specified
• Must be available for at least half of holidays during assignment
• No on-call requirements
• Floating requirements apply
• Scrub color/dress code: Any solid color, clean and professional
• Patient ratio: RNs 1:20, LPNs 1:20, CNAs 1:8
• Common diagnoses and patient types include dementia, frail elderly, and rehabilitation patients
• Job duties include charting, assessments, charge duties, medication administration, and clinical skills such as IVs, catheters, and ostomy care
• IV and titratable drip experience required
• Elderly patient care experience required
• Interdisciplinary team includes therapy, administration, social workers, activities, dietary, and housekeeping
• Physician availability after hours
• DON/Charge Nurse/House Supervisor on-site
• Respiratory therapy available on-site 24/7
• Pharmacy and medication dispensing system on-site
• EMR system: ECS
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
• All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility

This post-acute care facility is a nursing home attached to a hospital, offering a comprehensive long-term care environment with 70 beds, the majority of which are private. The facility provides skilled nursing care for elderly and rehabilitation patients and is supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including therapy, social workers, dietary staff, and housekeeping. On-site resources include 24/7 respiratory therapy, pharmacy services, and a medication dispensing system to ensure high-quality patient care.
