Opportunity:
RN – Rehabilitation Nurse
Job Details:
• 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• 13-week contract
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours, which can be taken in hour increments as needed
• Primary location on inpatient rehabilitation unit with 12 beds
• Patient ratios: 1:4-1:6 PM and 1:8 nights
• Primary cases include stroke, trauma, debility, amputation, and cardiac
• 1 year of Medical Surgical Rehab experience preferred, or nurses with Medical/Surgical background
• Experience in an inpatient hospital setting (STAC) required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Rehab knowledge required
• Strong work ethic, resilience, ability to manage change, and social skills expected
• Required certifications: WI RN license, AHA or ARC BLS
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub colors: any color

This facility is a well-established health system with a dedicated inpatient rehabilitation unit focused on providing specialized care for patients recovering from stroke, trauma, debility, amputation, and cardiac conditions. The rehabilitation unit consists of 12 beds and operates with a multidisciplinary approach to patient recovery.
