Opportunity:
RN – IMC
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and holiday required
• 36 hours per week available
• No on-call or standby requirement unless picking up an extra shift
• Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:4 on days through 2300; 1:5-6 on nights after 2300
• Nurse aides available on unit
• No self-scheduling; block scheduling based on unit needs
• Floating as needed based on unit census
• No scrubs provided; no required scrub color
• Charting system: Cerner
• Care for cardiac medical and surgical patients including post cath lab (stent, pacemaker, ICD, watchman, mitral clip, TAVR) and post cardiac surgery patients (CABG, valve replacements, AFib, chest pain, CHF, arrhythmias, syncope, bradycardia with temporary pacemaker)
• Manage TR band compression devices and chest pain patients
• Titrate drips including Nitroglycerin, Heparin, Diltiazem, Amiodarone, Lasix, Bumex, and Dobutamine (no vasopressors)
• Responsible for incentive spirometry; RT available 24/7 for nebulizers, inhalers, CPAP, BiPAP, and Vapotherm assistance
• 24/7 central telemetry unit monitors all non-critical care patients and reads strips
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in a busy hospital environment required
• Experience with post-procedural cath lab patients required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
• BSN not required
• Must clock in and out at facility

This acute care facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center offering comprehensive medical and surgical services. The 3N MS/IMC unit consists of 29 beds and specializes in cardiac medical and surgical care, supported by a 24/7 central telemetry monitoring unit and around-the-clock respiratory therapy services. The facility is committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a structured and well-supported clinical environment.
