Opportunity:
CT Technologist – CT Technologist
Job Details:
• Work a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation beginning on Thursday and running through the following Wednesday
• Thursday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday shift hours: 8:30 PM – 6:30 AM
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shift hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Third shift position
• Work independently in CT with support of an X-ray technologist onsite
• Transport patients to and from CT examinations
• Serve inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients in need of CT services
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Minimum 2 years of experience with CT Canon (Toshiba) hospital scanner (80 slice) required
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Medrad Stellant injector required
• EPIC experience required
• Experience with Canon/Toshiba 40 and 80 slice scanners beneficial
• Proficiency in basic CT principles and practices required
• Peripheral IV starts with IV contrast injection skills required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT registered)
• Scrub color: Any
Facility:
This facility is a Level IV Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center operating with 80 beds. The facility provides comprehensive imaging services supporting inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients. The CT department is supported by a department supervisor and utilizes Canon/Toshiba 40 and 80 slice scanners alongside the EPIC charting system, ensuring a well-equipped environment for CT technologists.
