Opportunity:
RN – ICU
Job Details:
• 13-week contract with an immediate start date
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• No on-call or call back requirements
• Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours and may be reduced to 4 or 8-hour increments as needed by the unit
• Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with 1 travel assignment preferred
• Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background with strong Neuro assessment skills required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Perform Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures including line placement and intubation
• Neuro-specific procedures include bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery
• Care for Neuro population including Stroke, TBI, head injury, and Neurosurgery patients
• Familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring required
• Experience as a Neuro Interventionalist is a plus
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage change well, work independently, and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), and NIHSS
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
