Opportunity:
Social Worker – Social Worker
Job Details:
• Work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• No weekend or holiday requirements
• May be placed on low census and put on call; call back minimum is 2 hours
• Float to Senior Wellness Program as needed
• Provide therapy services to a Medicare population through group therapy, individual therapy, and occasional family therapy sessions
• Treat patients with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), and Adjustment Disorders
• Participate in community outreach activities including a monthly grief support group and other community events as needed
• Group sizes can accommodate up to 12 patients
• Professional casual attire required (no scrubs)
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Required licensure: LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, or LLPC with active Michigan state licensure
• Master's degree required
• Candidates must hold a Michigan license permitting independent clinical practice or a Michigan limited license (LLMSW or LLPC) with a qualifying Michigan-licensed clinical supervisor with an approved supervision agreement with the facility
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required
• Experience working with geriatric patients is highly desired
• Candidates with a social work or professional counseling background will be considered
• Contractor must live outside 50 miles from Aspirus Iron River (radius rule expires 9/25)
